"We paid €1,685 for two nights, and the experience we had was extremely disappointing. The room we were assigned did not match the photos or the description provided at the time of booking in any way.
We had booked a Junior Suite with a king-size bed and a view of the Eiffel Tower. The room we actually received was significantly smaller than shown, and the so-called “Eiffel Tower view” consisted only of the tip of the tower, visible only from a certain angle. In our opinion, this cannot be considered a true Eiffel Tower view.
We arrived at the property at 1:30 a.m. The check-in process was slow and unprofessional. We were even advised to check the room first, which gave us the impression that the staff was already aware that it did not fully correspond to what had been booked.
After seeing the room and reporting the issue, we were informed that resolving the situation could take 2–3 hours, in the middle of the night. At 4:00 a.m. there was no manager on site, as the manager was only expected to arrive later. The only solution offered was for us to stay temporarily in that room until it would be possible to speak with the person in charge. This was a very stressful situation for us, especially considering the high price paid.
In the following days, we were refunded only one night. At the same time, however, we were charged more than €900 for approximately 5 hours of stay in a room that did not match what we had booked. From our perspective, this outcome was completely disproportionate to the service received.
Given the price charged, we expected transparency, customer focus, and an appropriate resolution. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet these expectations in any way.
In our view, the value for money was completely unsatisfactory.
Service was well below expectations.
We would not return and cannot recommend this property."
