La Clef Tour Eiffel Paris

"Second time staying here but it didn’t live up to the memory of the first unfortunately. Location is great, staff are friendly, room size and decor is nice. However there were 3 issues. When we arrived the sofa bed was not made up, and we did need to ask for bedding/someone to make it for us. The shower door was hanging off its hinges which meant each time you opened it, it dropped out of the wall and became difficult to open from inside (banging against the towel rail). This could potentially trap someone inside. We ordered room service on the first night, it took 35-40 mins to come and it was cold. Literally cold. We had to use the microwave to heat up 4 meals which was unacceptable. I did mention this to reception when checking out and was told the food is ordered from next door. I assumed it was cooked on sight, so €20 delivery fee is a lot for cold food. Overall lovely hotel but the 3 issues left a negative impression for us."

"One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had in Paris. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The reception staff, especially Sindra and Ana, were rude, unprofessional, and made us feel completely unwelcome from the first day. Instead of enjoying our vacation, the stressful atmosphere and poor treatment ruined a big part of our trip. Paris is beautiful, but this hotel can truly ruin your entire experience. Stay somewhere else."
