Hotel Paris Marne la Vallee by IHG

"We have just returned from a three night stay, after staying here for our visit to Disneyland Paris. This makes for a great base whilst visiting Disneyland, with the regular shuttle bus service to/from the park. A tell from the communal areas that the hotel has recently been refurbished, and would love to return once the pool etc. is finished as would make it an even better stay with kids! The staff were fantastic, in particular the restaurant staff at breakfast. Very attentive and helpful. Great selection and quality of food on offer as well. I think the room we stayed in was yet to be refurbished, but it had everything you needed. Would definitely stay here on a return visit, highly recommend!"

"Came here for Easter break, booked through Expedia. When we arrived we asked how to get to the pool and was told pool gym and spa all closed. There was nothing on Expedia to say this was closed , we were told it’s on our website but let’s be honest who books a hotel through another website then checks the hotel main page ? This should have been stated on Expedia! Price of our stay did not reflect the closure. Reception not very friendly at all and didn’t tell us where breakfast was The lifts are a disaster we got stuck and when we pressed bell it just rang out then when someone finally answered they didn’t speak English and hung up, we had to bang on the lift doors for help. The pillows are the worst pillows I’ve ever slept on in my life, totally falling apart and the headboards on the beds had lamps on them right at your head which was just bizarre. Pull out sofa bed dipped badly in the middle This hotel is very boring if you have children, there is nothing at all for them to do I would choose elsewhere"

"We booked this hotel via IHG for a weekend stay and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent, with easy access from the airport. We particularly enjoyed the spa and the restaurant. It’s ideal for a relaxing break away from the city while still being close to many facilities and shops. The food was divine — highlights included the pumpkin soup, duck breast, and crème brûlée. We also loved having an aperitif at the lobby bar next to the fireplace, which created a very cozy atmosphere. We learned that the hotel will soon be refurbished and are already looking forward to visiting again once the refurbishment is completed."
