Pickalbatros Citadel Resort - Sahl Hasheesh

"Big hotel , staff very friendly but not very good for people with less mobility. We were in block 7 which seems to be the highest possible hence no real sea view and around 250 steps upwards ,there is a bus that goes around but I didnt see it where I was. The rooms are in need of updating , shower door dosnt close , toilet seat not fixed particularly well. We had issues with our door key and had to have recoded 2 times in a week. Bars and restaurants are OK with mainly ok international food but dont expect any Michelin Star type of food. One ala carte which you have to book but need to book early as seems to get booked up very quickly so we couldn't get in .there are 2 further ala cartes you need to pay extra . As I mentioned the staff are all very good and friendly in the resort however the beach vendors/hawkers are extremely pushy and aggressive,they also keep on adding on more and more , you can get a red flag to put by your sunbed ,but need to be early as they run out very quickly. I do feel that as they operate within the grounds of the hotel they should be controlled more. They are unbelievably expensive also. I dont think I would return because of this."
