Le Meridien Nice

"We have stayed in Nice many times and this time for only one night at this chain hotel. Although the room was very spacious, it was lacking in certain amenities. The coffee maker, a Nespresso, malfunctioned and dripped water all over the floor. It took a while to get a replacement. We found the lobby and reception area, lacking in cleanliness and warmth. In fact, one of the shocks that we had is there really is no room service. Other than breakfast room service there is no evening room service for dinner. Of course there are many restaurants and bars and brasseries nearby. We did have a snack by the pool, but in order to access it one has decline several flights of stairs after getting off the elevator This is not a good arrangement. We also found that some of the weight staff had attitude. The views of the ocean are beautiful if you happen to have one of those rooms. Ours had a very small balcony where you could a partial ocean view, which was very nice. We might’ve enjoyed this hotel more. Have we gotten an upgrade. But we stayed there on the very edge of a jazz festival and the hotel was . Not my cup of tea, but I’m sure OK for for families. Location is very good."

"Lovely hotel in a wonderful location. I was welcomed by very cordial and professional staff. The ambience is very Cote D'Azure rooms are very clean and have all amenities. Breakfast buffet is yummy (awww the croissants!!l ) and the top floor restaurant is a must go. I would not stay anywhere else in Nice"

"Great location, right on Promenade des Anglais. Underground parking right under hotel (it’s fine if you’re not driving a tank). Loads of eating places right nearby (tip, go out to explore & eat breakfast). Staff really helpful. Facilities good. Room size ok, we had a room at back overlooking offices / apartments but still ok. Rooftop restaurant views amazing. Not the cheapest, but location explains why."
