Ibis Styles Nice Centre Gare

"We spent 7 nights here, on an EasyJet Holiday from Edinburgh Airport and were well impressed, by our Room, the Buffet Breakfasts and, in particular, the young lady on Reception, both when we arrived and during our visit. Our only minor concern was the pigeon nuisance, when sitting outside for Breakfast, due to vacated tables, still with scraps of food being pounced upon by these scavenging birds. The Staff did their best to clear the tables promptly, but a tray rack situated just inside the main dining area, along with clear requests for residents to deposit their trays, in this rack, would, I’m sure, improve this unhygienic situation. My experience of seeing pigeons feasting on my breakfast, having gone back into the dining area, for less than a minute, was alarming, to say the least! Sadly, pigeons appear to be an issue in outdoor eateries, throughout the Cote d’Azure! On a very positive note, however, we will certainly come back to this Ibis Style, if we return to Nice, in the future, so thank you to all the Staff who welcomed us."

"The customer services have been unacceptable. I booked this hotel purely because it was advertised with a gym. It was the one reason I booked it. More than the bed itself. The agency I booked through have been lying about their advert and the hotel have not helped, claiming that I got a room upgrade because of it. That is a) not true and b) didn’t help me with the lack of gym! False advertising should not be allowed. I would have stayed again probably, had this just been dealt with like any good company would/should."

"Location wise very good, right beside trains to Cannes, Monaco and airport. Great walking distance to beach (approximately 15mins, easy walk). Room was serviced everyday. Room quite small but it’s to be expected for France and its affordability. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, didn’t get a chance to enjoy the pool area however it looks really good. You get what you pay for, and for what you pay for, you get really well :)"
