"I booked this hotel as it had good reviews on Tripadvisor. We came here as a family and we will never be back. Rude reception staff- one lady told me to be quiet as she was ‘talking’ (nonsense) and it was very much a computer says no attitude the whole stay. Breakfast was poor and once the food was gone, its was gone and not replaced. The drinks were ridiculously expensive for the hotel and we even had an issue with two charming young children running up and down the corridor each night kicking the doors to each room with their feet. I tried to call reception but to no avail. The hotel is noisy if your room is city view so don’t book this. The location is not great and very unwelcoming at night and as soon as we arrived I wish we hadn’t booked it. The cleaners were lovely and the beds were comfortable and the shower was good and that’s its only saving grace. There are better hotels in much nicer areas of Nice."

"This is a hotel that struggles to put families in adjoining or adjacent rooms. We were told we were lucky to be on the same floor even though we booked 4 weeks in advance! Reception unhelpful and arrogant. Breakfast a disaster where they run out of essentials and don’t replace them. Plenty of staff just no obvious management. House keeping however is 5 star! The beds are comfortable. The building is sealed with no opening windows, the a/c fixed at 20 which was fine but not for everyone. If you want a miniature bottle of champagne from the kiosk in reception it will cost you €25! The hotel has pretensions to be up market but is just average and expensive. The area next to the railway station is not for everyone and can be noisy with beggars and rogues in abundance."

"After reading the reviews on this place I feel like I have stayed at another hotel. My experience was a dud from the start. A 3pm check in After arriving at 10am. Booked in here by a travel agent with a number of other people from a cruise ship, which was 5 star. Got into our room at 3.10pm and completely worn out from waiting. It was grossly understaffed and the restaurant was ridiculously over priced as was the bar. 70 Euros for a bottle of wine, which was not top shelf by any means. Bathroom flooded when I had a shower. Double size.bed which I haven't experienced in a hotel for years. That's enough. Would not stay there again."
