Hotel Alcove Nice

"L’Alcôve was an amazing stay located in a great area with walking distance to nice beach. We got lots of Ubers around nice such as to Ville Franche for around 20 euros and enjoyed visiting lots of nearby towns. The staff were incredibly friendly, always approachable and always offered to help out. For a 3 star hotel I was very impressed. Everything was spotless, there was incredible customer service and I was surprised that they had fully functioning air con. Elodie and Gi were helpful and very polite throughout our entire stay and answered all our questions. Thank you for a lovely stay!"

"The female front desk receptionist at check and check out was great, super friendly, and helpful. The room was basic and clean. However we asked to have our room cleaned only 1 of our 3 day stay and it wasn’t done, mind you we put the tag on the door and the male front desk attendant asked us as we left in the morning We were able to get fresh towels from the front desk. The beds and pillows were a bit hard, but it had AC. The shower was typical for Europe but lacks space to put your toiletries. Parking is about a 5-7 minute walk but you are able unload and load our stuff at the hotel. The walk is about 15-20 minutes to old town and beach about 4-5 blocks away. Overall a basic hotel stay. We did not try the breakfast though it was available for an extra charge. The front desk did speak English which was a plus."

"Alcove was a great choice for our 4-day stay. It has a great location close to excellent restaurants and, of course, the Mediterranean. Parking is a five minute walk away and the street in front is very busy. You don’t really need a car in this location though as it is very convenient to many of the sites and to public transportation. The rooms are nice with good quality basics. The staff is very responsive and helpful. I have recommended this hotel to friends who are going to Nice this summer and I would not hesitate to do so again."
