Novotel Montpellier

"Very nice, large room, clean and comfortable, with tea and coffee (pods - no instructions for the machine!), good air conditioning. Lovely large pool. Good buffet breakfast, including hot food and continental. As a large group we had a set dinner with no choice, it was fine though not exceptional, and the vegetarians were catered for."

"We are a family of four from Denmark travelling through France on a four-week road trip. We stayed here for one night and were genuinely impressed by what the hotel offered for the price. The pool area was definitely the highlight of our stay. It was beautifully maintained, our children loved it, and we were able to take some wonderful holiday photos. Pool towels were available at reception, which was a nice touch. The only downside was that there weren’t enough sunbeds on a very warm day. Our room had recently been renovated and felt modern, clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and we appreciated the bathrobes in our room. Our children slept on a pull-out sofa in the same room as us. We generally prefer hotels where the children have their own separate sleeping area while still sharing the same room, but for one night this worked well. The staff were friendly throughout our stay, and our boys were delighted to receive a small teddy bear each at check-in. They will travel with us, making them a lovely souvenir from this part of our road trip. Parking was free and located right outside the hotel, making arrival and departure very easy. We didn’t have breakfast, so we can’t comment on that. Considering that this was actually the least expensive hotel of our entire road trip through France, we were extremely impressed by the quality and overall experience. We would happily stay here again and would certainly recommend it to other families."

"Another good stay in Montpellier with my sweetheart Michelle. Our room was comfortable and there had been a refurbishment since our last stay. The hotel is convenient for the Autoroute and very close to the Garcia Lorca tram station which gives easy access to the city and the Montpellier tram network. The parking is ample and overall a very good choice of hotel."
