Hotel Richer de Belleval

"A beautiful hotel in the best location in Montpellier. From the minute we arrived we received incredible service from the staff, and this continued throughout our stay. Lea (in Reception/Guest Services) was outstanding. So friendly, always ready to help and provide valuable information. Our room (no. 16) was lovely and spacious with a beautiful view and a very comfortable bed. The food in the restaurant was amazing and we were able to eat on the terrace overlooking the pretty square in front of the hotel. I would 100% recommend this hotel."

"We stayed at Hôtel Richer de Belleval for three nights in July, having stayed here several times before. This time we had a quiet room overlooking the back of this beautiful historic hotel, with excellent blackout curtains, effective air conditioning, and a very comfortable bed. We were also pleased to see a noticeable improvement in the reception service. The staff consistently greeted us with a smile whenever we entered or left the hotel, making the atmosphere much warmer and more welcoming than on previous visits. Our only minor criticism concerns the valet service. Although we texted our arrival 10 minutes in advance as instructed, the valet was not ready when we arrived. In a city like Montpellier, where driving can be challenging due to the many one-way streets, this created some unnecessary stress. It would have been better for us to call ahead of time. Overall, however, this was another excellent stay, and we look forward to returning."

"This is my second time at this hotel two years apart and I find the staff to be some of the most thoughtful and friendly of anywhere I’ve ever stayed. I’ve been with a girlfriend and now my daughter and they make every effort to help make reservations and are always willing to go above and beyond to make the stay special. I would highly recommend this hotel, it’s beautiful and creative and very welcoming."
