"We stayed in the Jeanne room on the ground Floor. This room has a nice patio at the back of the room. The bed was good and the airconditioning worked fine. The lay-out of the room we did not like so much. The bathroom is enormous and the sleeping area is small. We had to put our suitcases in the bathroom because there was no space in the sleeping area. The bathroom is open to the sleeping area but has curtains for privacy. The toilet is separate and has a door. There is cupboard with a coffee machine but it is difficult to make coffee because of the cupboard door. It would be better to remove this door. Next door is a breakfast brunch restaurant that shares the halway where unfortunately they were doing building work. Everyday when the restaurant closed around 3 in the afternoon the builder would come and make a lot of noise."
Lovely quiet place only 10 minutes walk from busy city centre .city
"A small hotel, maybe only a dozen rooms, in a quiet, small street, just 5 minutes' walk from St Roch rail station and 10 minutes from Place de la Comédie. There's no reception desk and you let yourself into the hallway and then your room by entrance code. Contact with management is by phone and I was easily able to arrange for my room to be ready earlier than the time given with my booking. My room was spacious and bright and gave on to the garden/ courtyard, lovely and peaceful. You wouldn't think you were in the heart of a busy city (well, just outside the heart...). Modern decoration, a little bit quirky - baskets making the ceiling cover, heads of corn at the bedhead, natural coloured heavy linen curtains. Large, very comfortable bed. No table or chair though... And nowhere to hang a coat or dress, only a cupboard just long enough for a jacket. Huge bathroom area with both shower and freestanding bath, up a couple of steps from the sleeping area, nice earthenware floor tiles. Breakfast is in the adjoining cafe, small but bright and new, friendly service and healthy options. One slight criticism: there's no lift, you come into a rather gloomy hall and have to find your way to the staircase , which is also quite gloomy and seems almost unfinished. It's a spiral staircase, though not too narrow and not with open treads. Still, if you had a lot of heavy baggage this could come as a bit of a nasty surprise. Don't worry though, as soon as you pass into the landing where the rooms are, it's all nice and modern. A tip: some rooms on the ground floor have terraces on the garden/courtyard. Would be nice on a sunny day, away from the crowds..."
This is a beautiful hotel
"We spent the night here this week, first time we’ve been. We drove from Narbonne, parked up in the train station car park and walked to the hotel. It’s tucked away in a little street, very quiet - it’s a digital check in and out. Seamless entry and the room was lovely, massive bath tub and bathroom area. The toiletries smell so good In the wardrobe there is a fridge and kettle and coffee maker which I didn’t spot until the next morning. Terrace with 2 comfy chairs outside. We dropped the bags and walked into Montpellier. We came back and chilled with the smart TV that offers Netflix, Amazon etc. We asked for a later checkout with no problem at all and had brunch in the attached cafe….. the food is off the scale. Waitress spoke fantastic english and the omelettes were gorgeous. This place is on our list for the next time we visit."
