"Functional hotel in a quiet neighborhood a 15-20 walk far from the old town. There is nothing that particularly stands out- the linens are serviceable but not luxurious, the rooms are a reasonable size but rather shabby, the parking lot is very small (we parked on the street), the walls are thin. The breakfast is basic. If you want something special, look elsewhere."

"Wonderful location near attractions, yet on a calm street. Love the welcoming boutique atmosphere (only 19 rooms) and the many charms of this old yet renovated building. Very helpful and friendly staff. (I spoke French with them, but I think everyone speaks English as well.) Our Superior room was spacious and clean. It was actually more like a suite. Ours had a front room with a double bed, and beyond that was a separate area with a desk, closet, chairs, and single bed (which we used for luggage). The bathroom was also larger than I expected. (We're used to tiny European bathrooms.) The AC worked well in the July 2026 heatwave. The breakfast buffet was all cold dishes, but the selection was tasty and generous. For €12pp, you get pastries, bread, jams (in cute little Bonne Maman jars), yogurt, granola, seasonal fruits, cheese, ham, sometimes a hard-boiled egg, and hot beverage and juices. One day we took our breakfast to the lovely front courtyard, and another day we had it delivered to our room (no extra charge). To dine with locals and maybe even hear some live music, about 5 minutes away is Le Drapeau Rouge. Highly recommend. My only disappointment was the WiFi, which wasn't super strong in our room. We stayed here 5 nights and would definitely stay here again!"

"Quiet respite near to City Centre. We stayed four nights at this lovely hotel right outside the city centre. Our room on second floor had a nice balcony to sit and enjoy the birds and trees. Our hosts were always helpful, warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel."
