"I didn’t quite know what to expect when booking the Radisson Blu. The reviews were mixed, so I arrived with fairly neutral expectations. In the end, it turned out to be a genuinely pleasant surprise. The hotel is still undergoing some works, which makes the overall result even more notable. From the moment you step into the room, you can see the direction they are taking. The room felt recently renovated, clean, and thoughtfully updated, with wooden floors instead of carpet, which immediately gives it a fresher and more modern feel. There are a few minor imperfections here and there, details that suggest the finish is not yet entirely polished, but nothing that truly affects the comfort of the stay. The room itself works very well. The bed is new and genuinely comfortable, the bathroom modern with a rainfall shower, and the espresso machine adds that small but meaningful touch that makes a stay feel considered rather than standard. What really stood out, though, was the service. Every single person we interacted with was kind, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant. That warmth shaped the whole experience and made the stay feel easy from start to finish. The location also adds to the appeal. Compared with staying at the Pullman before, the walk into the city centre through the park felt surprisingly pleasant and, even at night, perfectly comfortable. The only area where there is still room for improvement is breakfast. It was absolutely fine, but rather basic, and clearly the one part of the experience that still feels behind the rest. Overall, this is a hotel that exceeded expectations. Even while works are still ongoing, the experience already feels far better than the mixed reviews might suggest."

"Our one-night stay at the Radisson Blu Montpellier was disappointing. The welcome at reception was tepid, with only vague instructions on how to access the underground parking, which was tight and difficult to navigate. Upon checkout, staff didn’t ask if we had a car or explain that we’d need our room key to exit the garage, which wasted time as we had to return to reception. The corridor leading to our room was cluttered with bedsheets awaiting collection, and the room itself was not clean. The toilet flushed poorly, there was visible mould and rust in the bathroom, and the windows were not double-glazed, meaning we could clearly hear conversations from across the street. The hotel is well located, with just a short walk into Montpellier’s beautiful town centre, but sadly that was the only real positive. Cleanliness and service were far below expectations for a Radisson Blu. I also left a purchased item in a shopping bag in the room; when I called the following day, I was told I’d be contacted if housekeeping found anything — but no call ever came. Overall, a very underwhelming experience and not a hotel I would recommend."

"Stayed one night for solo leisure trip. Staff were absolutely wonderful - a perfect mix of efficiency and excellent customer service. On-site car parking excellent and secure. Location perfect and right in the heart of Montpellier. Modern hotel with excellent facilities. Highly recommend for business and pleasure."
