"DO NOT STAY HERE. Our family was victimized by a criminal robbery inside our rooms at 15:50 today. Two men entered our daughters' interconnecting room while my wife was in the main room. They stole a cross necklace and a bracelet. When my wife discovered them searching our belongings, she had to physically push the intruders out of the room while shouting for help. The hotel’s response was dangerously slow. It is now 18:37—nearly three hours later—and the Director is still "unreachable." The staff has shown zero empathy and zero urgency. Their only response was to offer a room change or to pay our money back and for us to move to another hotel in the city, in case we don't feel safe in their hotel. They also told us to "go to the police if we want to mention it. They just informed us that indeed there was an incident and a saw the intruders in the cameras. A hotel that allows intruders to walk into a room occupied by a woman and children—and then refuses to take responsibility when jewelry is stolen and a physical confrontation occurs—is not a safe place to stay. This is a massive breach of security and a total failure of management. Marriott Corporate will be informed. Their attitude is unacceptable."

"Great hotel with a wonderful team. Nice location at Port Marianne with a short and direct tram ride into the city centre. Great restaurant including breakfast, lunch and dinner. We loved our stay."

"We were very excited to stay in this beautiful hotel but when we arrived an arrogant staff member informed us that although check in was at 3pm our room wouldn’t be available until 5pm as an important guest was wanting a late check out. We had to ask for some form of compensation for our 2 hour delay and they gave us a single drink each. Finally get our room, family of 3, lovely room with king bed and fold out couch for our son. It was the worst folding bed we’ve ever experienced!! He couldn’t sleep on it as it was like rocks, floor would be more comfortable. I tried to sleep in it and all 3 of us ended up in king bed. Incredibly BAD!!! We traveled throughout Italy and France for 5 weeks and this was by far our worst experience of a hotel. The disappointment was real as we had really looked forward to staying here. As a family I would not recommend it 🥺"
