"Overall, our experience at the hotel was mostly positive. My husband and I enjoyed the facilities, especially the tennis court and swimming pool. However, the kitchen in our chalet lacked basic essentials such as dishwashing detergent and a sponge, making it difficult to clean the dishes after cooking. We also had an unpleasant interaction with a staff member at the buffet, who stopped us and said we “shouldn’t be there” because our wristbands were not the all-inclusive type. As we had paid for our meals separately, we felt this could have been handled in a much more polite and professional manner."

"I/ Positive points - Welcome, services. Welcoming and competent staff at the bar and at the reception. - Catering, especially in the evening, with quantity and varied "signature dishes." You can prepare "packed lunches" and take whatever you want for lunch to eat somewhere other than the restaurant. If I have a suggestion to make, it is to add, especially for breakfast, soft-boiled eggs that you can cook in boiling water (which doesn't cost much). Another detail, for 2 weeks, there was only one day where I was able to see ice cream; what is the reason for not offering it every day, especially when it is hot? - "All-inclusive" package, which is rare in many hotels in France. You can drink just about whatever you want, except that some cocktails and digestifs are still paid, and others are only offered at a specific time, for example starting at noon or 6:30 PM; why these restrictions, why not at 11:30 AM and 6:00 PM? (when I go abroad there are never any exclusions when it comes to the "all-inclusive" package and you can consume any cocktail from morning to night). Another wish, as I am reasoning based on a hotel reputed to be 4 stars, can we have a cup when we have coffee, with the presence of a piece of chocolate or a cookie/biscuit? Furthermore, it is very good to offer something to eat during snacks and aperitif times, but can we have small disposable paper plates to hold them instead of small pieces of paper that don't hold up at all? - Housekeeping possible every day to change bed linens and restock toiletries if necessary. Quick response for technical problems. II/ Negative points - No entertainment available. This is not a place for people, especially with children, who are looking for entertainment at the pool or bar, physical or cultural exercises. In a word, nothing at all, not even a music band or artists, for example pianists, to liven up the evenings a little. The worst part is that in the apartments there is a television but it is installed in the kitchen and not in the bedroom, so there is no question of watching TV in the evening before sleeping. Perhaps in this case, the kitchen should be equipped with a removable bench, or at most a kind of lounge chair, to be able to watch TV while lying down? - Pool a bit cramped (about 200 m2 it seems). Is there enough space for everyone during peak periods? Furthermore, some areas not protected by awnings do not have umbrellas. - Apartments a bit dated, compared to the photos we see in the ads, although nothing is missing (A/C, Wi-Fi) and the apartment we are occupying has up to 5 beds in 2 separate bedrooms (although there are only 2 of us). The mattress is quite firm. The shower room is tiny; people of a certain size will have trouble squeezing into it. The toilet is separate, which is good, but the bowl needs to be replaced because the bottom is completely black. - Paid parking, €12 per night, that's a bit petty. And there is no other option because there is no public parking nearby. - La Roquille beach, the closest one, is still located almost 1 km away (at my pace it took me almost half an hour). III/ Conclusion In summary, it is a hotel for those looking for peace and quiet with an all-inclusive, quality service, but you have to pay the price, which is not cheap (in fact, it is the price to pay in most hotels that offer full board in France). I wanted to try this hotel because it offers the "all inclusive" package that I did not find in the competing hotel chain, Le Belambra, where I have already stayed 3 times. Based on the strengths and weaknesses listed, I give an average rating of 5/10. Actually, that is not a bad rating for hotels in France because I always evaluate in comparison with previous experiences, and in that sense, I find that stays abroad, for example in countries like Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, or Turkey, in 5-star palaces where everything is included, are much more interesting with much cheaper prices while including all transportation."
