"Do not stay here unless you are happy to be comprehensively fleeced at every turn. Fine to take a deposit for eg a stag do or large group of football fans but for a quiet mother and son? And then make the return of the deposit protracted and difficult, necessitating bank contact with the hotel. The staff are miserable and unhelpful (eg. ‘Is there a supermarket nearby?’ ‘Non’ 🙄. Don’t blame them as they are so overworked and nothing is working in the hotel. The pool is tiny and the few sun loungers are taken by idiot towel monsters who bags the lounger early morning only to not return until after lunch."

"We checked in at AC Hotel Marseille Vélodrome on July 7 for a one-night stay, and unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing. Although the payment had already been made by our agency in advance, we were kept waiting at check-in because the staff claimed that the payment had not been received. Later, we were told that this happened because the staff member was new. This is not an acceptable excuse for a hotel of this standard, especially when guests are made to wait unnecessarily due to an internal staff issue. On top of that, even though we had paid for two separate rooms, they initially tried to give us only one room. This was highly unprofessional and caused unnecessary stress during check-in. What bothered us the most was the attitude of the staff. Their behavior felt rude, cold, and discriminatory, especially toward Turkish guests. We did not feel welcomed or respected at all. We expected a much more professional, respectful, and solution-oriented service from this hotel. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we definitely do not recommend AC Hotel Marseille Vélodrome. Guests should be very careful, especially regarding payment confirmation and room arrangements."

"Booked two rooms at a heightened rate for a concert that was later cancelled. By accident booked it as non-refundable, didn’t notice the small writing. After learning about the concert cancellation contacted them (over a month before the booking) and asked for an understanding and option to either cancel or at least change the dates, as the event cancellation was out of our control and the rooms were expensive. No understanding from their side received, no solutions provided. Just a cold tone and an attitude that they couldn’t care less. Well, #### ###."
