"The hotel is beautiful, absolutely spotless, and the rooms are superb. 🌟 However, what truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. A special and huge thank you goes to Anna 🙏 at the reception. 😊 Not only is she remarkably kind, but she is also a natural leader and incredibly intuitive. ✨ Even over the phone, she immediately anticipated our needs and assisted us without hesitation. We also want to give a special shout-out to the wonderful breakfast team! All the ladies there were extremely sweet, welcoming, and polite. ❤️ We also highly appreciated the excellent service from the gentleman with the beard and the young man with glasses, who were both so attentive. 🙏 We are deeply grateful to the entire team for their dedication and wish them all the success they truly deserve. 🌟 This is definitely a place we highly recommend without a second thought. "Outstanding views from the rooms and the restaurant. Well placed for the train station Lyon Part Dieu, if you’re looking to stay overnight, breaking your journey while travelling up through France (as I was). You can see the distinctive tower of the hotel as you exit the station - how to walk there is not immediately obvious, but just cut through the Westfield shopping centre. Exceptionally good breakfast buffet - so much to choose from and to enjoy whilst taking in those gorgeous views. Very comfortable stay."

"The hotel sits in a domineering position for views of the lovely city of Lyon, with access to a tram right outside. But frankly that’s all that’s good about it. My mistake in that I should have checked the 2017 and 2024 tripadvisor reviews regarding the smell of drains and dampness in the hotel. We immediately smelled it in the reception and lifts and then stinking into our room and was even worse overnight. Of note, in the downstairs lobby there is an air freshener pumping out a perfume- clue number 1! We reported the smell issue the first morning and the front desk blamed it on the recent rains but this problem clearly has been going on since 2017, so why has the new Chinese owners not fixed it? Secondly, the hotel although in a tall building starts at floor 32, so not sure how drain smells reach that high! The staff were completely disinterested in complaints about the smell, as if they heard the complaint frequently! It was so bad that I went to a shop and bought some air freshener! The rooms are very tired. We stayed in a junior suite, which is what is marketed on line. The paint on the walls are chipped with dirty scuff marks. The brown carpet is stained and likely another cause of why the rooms smell, as it’s clinging to the carpet fibres. We did not unpack our suitcases and kept them zipped shut to avoid the smell infiltrating our clothes for our upcoming cruise down the Rhone. Final gripe, we went out to dinner and wanted an after dinner glass of wine and there was nowhere in the bar area to sit for a drink. We were told there were no tables but we could be served in the lobby. Not what we wanted but we sat there and no- one came, so we gave up. Staff in the bar had an apathetic, like they were all overworked attitude - unlikely that they received tips often! So pretty much we are giving up on Radisson and all its hotels in the group! Not for us. We travel a lot, so the reviews are legit and honest!"
