"I stayed at Mercure Lyon Centre Charpennes Parc De La Tête D'Or for a business trip and had a very positive experience. The hotel’s location is one of its biggest strengths—minutes from the metro and close to Parc de la Tête d'Or, making it easy to balance work with a bit of downtime. The atmosphere is welcoming, modern, and relaxed. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and comfortable, with all the essentials I needed for a productive stay. I felt the pricing offered good value considering the area and the overall quality. Service was excellent throughout my visit—professional, attentive, and efficient. Noise levels were low, allowing for easy rest after long work days. Amenities like the lobby bar, breakfast options, and reliable Wi-Fi added extra convenience. Overall, a great hotel choice for business travelers who appreciate cleanliness, comfort, and a convenient location."

"This was a reasonable hotel that was ok for the money, but had a few things working against it. Firstly, the location is a fair distance from the centre of Lyon and there aren’t a lot of good food options nearby. The room was reasonably modern, but the bathroom door did not close and the vanity plug did not retain water. There was no iron/board within the room and there were only a couple of English TV channels. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. A somewhat no frills accommodation option in Lyon for the budget conscious."

"Very good hotel in a great location just outside the city centre. We received a warm welcome for 2 nights stay at this hotel. The receptionist shared useful information to help us settle in. Our standard room on the first floor was a good size, clean, very comfortable and well decorated. There is tea & coffee making facilities in the room as well as a mini fridge. The location is quieter than being in the city centre and transport links - metro, trams & buses are a few metres from the hotel. A choice of shops, restaurants and bars in the area. It’s very quick and easy to get around. We would visit Lyon again and stay at this hotel."
