Hotel de Normandie

"This hotel and management are a disgrace. Bed bugs bites are common. We had to kill several in the bed after getting bitten. The manager refused to issue any refund, denied receiving our complaint emails, and then gave us a false email address to write to. Do not stay at this hotel¡"

"The hotel is just “ok” for the price. There is also an extra charge for breakfast. A big thank you for the housekeeping sweet lady that she run behind me to give me the charger that I forgot. The morning lady at the reception was very helpful also but the night receptionist was awful. You have to wait for him to finish his game at his phone and then maybe he can give you attention."

"The hotel is just next to Lyon Perrache bus and train station. However, since it’s located at the corner and the surroundings is quite dark, so it took me for a while and kept asking people nearby in order to get to hotel. Luckily, a convenience store nearby was still opened during that time and the shopkeeper showed me the way. Still it’s very close and convenient as I arrived there at midnight, and I was able to check-in. The room is small but comfortable. It’s fine for me to stay for one night. It’s great that they offered luggage storage after check-out, so I could have a half-day visit in Vieux Lyon. "
