Aparthotel Adagio Lyon Patio Confluence

"We stayed in apartment hotel adagio in Lyon. How this hotel gets so many good reviews and is classed as 4 star is baffling. We arrived on Saturday evening my husband waited outside whilst I went into check about parking. I asked the gentleman on reception if someone could help with our bags - to my astonishment the receptionist told me he was the only person on duty - so I had to get the cases out myself and bring them into the hotel - my husband then had difficulty parking his car so the receptionist put a sign on the desk saying he would bek shortly. I seriously question the safety and security of this hotel towards its guests - secondly there was no bar at all no where to sit and have a drink other than your room - and then it would be something Out of a vending machine. The room was ok but quite dated overall it felt like a upmarket youth hostel definitely not 4 star accommodation- would never stay in one of these dreadful places again."

"Comfortable and clean rooms, very welcoming staff."

"My daughter and I had a simply wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was comfortable (air conditioned!) and had everything we needed (our unit had a separate upstairs sleeping area plus kitchenette). Staff were incredibly nice, and helpful when we needed something, including figuring out the laundry machines. We did not have the breakfast but it looked and smelled delicious (instead, having arrived on a Wednesday, we loaded up with fruit and yogurt from the weekly farmers market). The hotel was quiet, in perfect location to restaurants and amenities not only south of Perrache / toward the confluence but also on the north side. We walked easily to old Lyon and the shopping / dining districts, and had the quiet after our days to relax and unwind. This hotel is excellent value for money, and we would certainly stay here again."
