"I stayed here for three nights on a mid week break in April. The hotel is very well located, very close to the train station and a short stroll to the port and city centre. The airport bus drop off/pick up is also close by. Reception was quick and easy, I found it odd to be asked if I wanted the room cleaned daily though, I assumed if you didn’t you’d just hang the sign from the door or perhaps there’s an extra charge if you do choose a daily clean? The room itself was small with a small en-suite but as I was travelling on my own this wasn’t an issue. The bed was comfortable and the sleep quality was good. The WiFi was also fine. I didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment on that but I did have a couple of drinks at the bar and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed my trip to La Rochelle and I’d recommend this hotel for your stay."

"Basic hotel in a great location. Perfect for exploring old town La Rochelle. Rooms were clean and comfortable with old furniture. Staff were very helpful. No air conditioning in the rooms so it was quite warm in the night time. There was a fan provided."

"The outside is unimposing but once inside everything is of a good standard. Friendly service, modern lift, well appointed rooms overlooking a city park for a very quiet nights sleep. Superb buffet breakfast with extensive choice of very fresh items. Dated early 70s style but quite charming, properly maintained and very clean. Overall very enjoyable and certainly good value. We'll be back."
