"Had a really lovely stay recently. The hotel was spotless and comfortable . My room was beautiful with a balcony. Breakfast was lovely .Location was so central. The staff were so friendly and accommodating . Will definitely be back."

"I wasn't staying at this hotel, but went into reception as my wife was recovering from foot surgery, was in incredible pain, and we desperately needed a taxi to return to our booked hotel. Lauren, the receptionist, was thankfully amazing empathetic and booked us a taxi without question. Incredible customer service despite the fact we weren't guests at the hotel. She is an angel. Customer service at this level attracts guests deservedly and next time we're in La Rochelle this is where we'll look to stay. God bless."

"A charming hotel about two blocks from the port of La Rochelle. The proprietor speaks very good English, was polite, friendly and professional. He gave us good dinner recommendations which resulted in us having a very enjoyable evening after an excellent meal. Breakfast in the morning was good and well worth the 13 euros he charged. He was attentive at breakfast as he was the previous evening checking us in. He advised us on parking (public parking was required but was not too expensive). The room was clean and reasonably sized and the hotel was quiet, off the beaten path."
