"First experience with this chain, and it was quite successful. Booking online is simple and the customer service platform is (relatively) easy to reach.
Having made a mistake with the stay dates (yes, really...), I was able to modify the reservation on-site. I encountered a very pleasant person at the front desk and, in the end, I only had to pay the difference. The night in a single room with a parking space cost me 105.50 euros (the parking space is 12 euros).
The hotel is well located, in direct proximity to the train station but a bit off-center. The underground parking lot has wide spaces and it is well lit, avoiding a gloomy introduction. From the parking lot, one can access the rooms by a staircase or an elevator.
The common areas are clean, colorful, and well lit. We stayed in room 312, which overlooks a church. The view is not fabulous; that being said, in Toulon, it is rare to come across an extraordinary view. The room is sufficient for two people who are making a stopover or spending a night on a business trip.
The first impression is cold because the floor is covered with a wood-imitation linoleum covering. It is cold but, paradoxically, brings a cozy touch. In this regard, the headboard repeats the patterns of the floor in another color. Fortunately, the walls are not all white, otherwise, the atmosphere would really feel like a hospital room. That is how the one facing the bed is a nice gray, while one of those in the bathroom is bright yellow. The curtains, whose abstract design leaning toward green reminds one of the texture of a throw blanket, are quite good at blocking light.
To the left of the bed is a wood and black iron frame forming a wardrobe, a small shelf, and a bin for storing shoes or a small suitcase. A mini space can also serve as a desk. A seat that looks like a high ottoman with a backrest allows one to sit down. Across from the bed is the TV with small iron shelves allowing one to place items like keys or jewelry, or even a phone.
The bathroom has a large shower stall, a wall-mounted toilet, a sink, and a mirror, as well as storage space above the toilet. I found the light to be too harsh, especially in the morning. In the room, next to the TV, a rectangular mirror is welcome to give a little depth or simply to see if one is well-dressed 😊
Besides that, there are some practical items like toiletries, two cups, an easy-to-use and effective reversible air conditioning unit, standard electrical outlets, and USB ports, especially by the nightstands.
The bedding is good, which allowed us to have a good night's sleep.
In short, even though it was very short, the stay was pleasant and met our expectations. From memory, breakfast is around 14 euros. A reasonable price, but it all depends on what is offered. So, for a stopover, a stay of one or two nights, I recommend this hotel which offers amenities at rates that can be cheaper than what I paid since, by booking a day off (so, by mistake), the night cost us 89 euros."
