Chateau du Mei-Lese

"This hotel is amazing. The pictures simply do not do it justice -- the setting is fantastic. the rooms are small, but not smaller than normal European rooms. the service is impeccable. I cannot say more nice things about this hotel. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed when I stayed so I did not get to try it out, but I'm sure it would have been great. The pool area was just an oasis in the middle of perfection, even if you just wanted to sit next to it and relax. Overall, the place is quiet, safe, and luxurious. You feel like you're in a private chateau, even when there are other guests. One thing to keep in mind -- Transit in the area is lacking and sometimes getting an Uber can be difficult. While the hotel does have a taxi and knows some local companies, it is better to plan ahead to ensure you can get to the other towns (e.g. Saint-Tropez or Cavalaire-sur-Mer in a reasonable amount of time) in a reasonable amount of time. Also, there are few stores nearby, so if you want to have extra drinks or snacks in the room, make a point to pick those up at some point too."

"Excellent experience and personal service with a smile and good humor from the owner. A little tricky to find but the property looks just just as represented on the website. It a a gated chateaux with security codes so we felt well protected. Jack the owner has a great sense of humor so it was service with a smile and lots of laughs. There is a great beach nearby with a restaurant and service right on the beach just like you would get in a major resort. All and all we had a great time with no problems."

"The owners are so welcoming, warm and considerate with a good Humour thrown in . Hotel was fully booked and most days we had the beautiful pool all to ourselves , views amazing as well as location near beaches , village and supermarket . Jack the owner knows all the best restaurants around and booked us tables at some places which were off the scale such great places . The real soul of this place is jack the owner, we will miss you sir ."
