Hotel Comte de Nice

"It's lovely to stay at a privately owned hotel rather than a faceless corporate one, especially as a solo female traveller. I stayed here prior to the refurbishment and it's great to see the same friendly staff as before. I had a single room with balcony: size wise the room was fine but the decor and furniture were a bit dated. Great to have the balcony - a real suntrap in the morning and just nice to have access to outside. Breakfast was good but I missed the tea/coffee station that used to be available all day. I will definitely be back!"

"I have stayed in this hotel for the past 20 years when it was family run .,but no more .The price has rocketed for a 3 star without pool and the quality has plummeted I am a mixture of anger and disappointment .The staff now are inexperienced (with no knowledge) with the exception of Sofia .The decor is abominable. Regardless of taste ,it’s cheap and sloppy ,the breakfast price is a joke,It’s a sadness to see a much loved place by the village be now seen as considerably less as many were very quick to tell me .Perhaps good for 1 night There are several more local hotels"
