Clarion Suites Cannes Croisette

"I’ll start with the positive, the location is great. Very close to all the shops and beautiful beach clubs and restaurants. It’s also quite nice to have a relaxing pool to hang at when you don’t feel like navigating the busy streets or beach club reservations. Although I will say the bartenders at the pool seemed like they had never made a drink or opened a bottle of wine in their lives and could use some bar training. They were very sweet but I could tell they were very overwhelmed in their position which is the fault of management in my opinion. Overall I do feel that the staff were trying their best to provide good service but they were severely understaffed and many of them were either inadequately trained or expected to do many jobs at one time which resulted in mass confusion and slow service. If you called down to reception or tried to have anything brought up to the room it never showed up so everything was basically self serve or you’re out of luck. The rooms were fairly spacious but unfortunately when we upgraded to a larger room the air conditioning was either broken or not strong enough to actually cool down the area of the room that the bed was in so we were terribly hot all night and did not sleep well at all. The slow service and outdated rooms and decor I can live with but the poor air conditioning and lack of a restful sleep really made our stay a lot less enjoyable. I hope the air conditioning in the larger rooms gets serviced soon so guests can have a restful sleep instead of sweating all night long."

"Horrible, from the start. I contacted the hotel beforehand and told them that I have a big car wide and tall. I told them it’s a g63 Brabus so I need special parking and if they could supply with it. They told me ofcourse and soon I booked the suite for 7 days. When I come there the parking is 1,8m tall and my car is 2,3m tall. They told me that it was my problem that I didn’t send measurements but I clearly told them what car it was and they searched it up. When talking with the ladies in the lobby they were extremely rude and told me to park in a garage 12 minutes away and walk and stop being a crybaby. Soon as a punishment they told me that I had to wait 10 minutes for my room. I waited and got up. To get to the suite there is only 1 elevator that goes that far up AND the elevator stops on every floor down and up. Takes it 5-10 minutes to go up to the room or down. Crazy how this hotel can have such high reviews. Talked with 3 other customers and all were extremely upset with their visit."

"We arrived at the hotel after waiting a while for someone to greet us at reception we got to our room eventually and upon further inspection there was stains on the pillow cases and a multitude of hairs in the bed we complained and got offered a second room where the issue repeated itself and we found more hairs in another bed the response from the staff was to take the hair out the bed and throw it on the floor we were then told there was nothing else he could do so we left the premises and are awaiting our refund, the worse hotel I have ever been in in regards to hygiene and staff attitude we stayed at a lovely new hotel round the corner for the similar price which was just mind boggling how they could charge the same price 🤣"
