"My third visit to Hotel Appia, a lovely spot, simple accommodation a short walk from the Palais and the sea. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The room was nice and quiet, a small single room with good natural light and a comfy bed. A tasty continental breakfast. I will be pleased to return again. "

"The Hotel is a two star hotel and is typical of what you would expect.The room was compact and the bed filled up the space,the shower box resembled a vertical coffin that you stood up in,so small that very time you moved your backside turned off the water ))The cleaners didint do a very good job although they changed the towels The plus side was the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was good value.The hotel rate for MIPIM was wait for it Euro 400 pr nights Ritz standard they certainly know how to profit from this week.the front desk staff were helpful and seemed friendly enough.A cheap stay in an expensive city normally ."

"A nice hotel centrally located in Cannes, about 15 minutes walk to the Palais and close to the train station. My single room was small but had everything I needed. A comfy bed, quiet at night, shutters to block out the early morning light and a good shower. The breakfast at 8 euros is nice, served in the reception area, consists of orange juice, coffee, croissant, bread, cheese etc. You might find something better in one of the local cafes but it's a handy option. The staff are very nice and helpful. I'd definitely return to the hotel again. "
