Boutique hotel in Juan les Pins

Renovated in 2019, this classic Provençal hotel balances antique style with modern comforts. It’s in a fantastic location, only 200m from the nearest sandy beach and a five-minute walk from the fabulous bars and restaurants of La Pinède. Just a short journey away on public transport is the old town of Antibes, where you’ll find all kinds of charming shops and eateries, as well as cultural gems like the Picasso Museum.

The hotel boasts gorgeous gardens that envelope a large swimming pool, which is particularly inviting on a hot summer day. A sumptuous continental breakfast can be enjoyed in the breakfast room or in the garden, while coffee and snacks are available from the bar throughout the day. There’s also an excellent selection of local wine.

All rooms are decorated in a quintessentially french style with air-conditioning and organic cotton bedding, so you’ll feel fresh and cool even on the hottest nights. A television and WiFi are included, and some rooms feature balconies.

Find out more about Antibes

This lesser-known jewel on the Côte d'Azur has a sparkle and charm much like its glamorous neighbours, Nice and Cannes. Enclosed by 16th Century ramparts, the cobbled streets and wooden-shuttered buildings of the Old Town contrast with the glittering marina – also known as Billionaires’ Quay. The old working Port Vauban was transformed into a harbour for the superyachts of the rich and famous in the late 1980s, and is the place for fantasy yacht shopping today.

The beaches of Antibes are well-sheltered coves, ideal for swimming and sunbathing. And if you fancy living it up at a luxury beach club, you’re in the right spot. Cocktails served to your sunbed overlooking the Mediterranean Sea? Yes please.

Art lovers are well served here, too. Tick off must-sees like the Musée Picasso – set in Grimaldi Castle, where Picasso lived and worked in 1946, the giant sculpture Nomade, and the Musée Peynet, which is dedicated to the local cartoonist.
