hotelF1 Antibes Sophia Antipolis

"We stayed here with a large group of scouts who had finished a 2 week long expedition. Booking.com had mistakenly cancelled 14 of our rooms 30 hours before we were due to check in and refused to correct the mistake. As you can imagine the stress levels were high. I cannot rate highly enough the staff in the call centre who were tenacious in trying to solve the problem but also the wonderful Magid (who sadly I never got to meet and thank in person) who was speaking to me at 2.30 am in the morning trying to help and keep me calm and Ranie who was the essence of loveliness in helping sort out the situation when I got there in person later in the day and remained serene in the face of a lot of large, noisy teenagers decending on her breakfast area. The hotel is absolutely budget simple rooms and shared bathrooms and swimming pool like press button showers- there is no taking away from that, but its clean, with fresh laundered bed linen, air con in the rooms and feels safe. There are lots of places to eat within a 20 min walking distance (including right next door) there is also an Aldi within 200 m and there is the number 19 bus which comes in a 3 minute walk away from the hotel which connects via a change in bus to Antibes main railway station. Given the sky high prices of hotels in the area its not surprising this one is always full. This is budget accomodation but the staff made it top notch."

"Ultra basic but clean enough hotel next to busy main road. Tiny air-conditioned room. Not recommended if you need to get to Sophia Antipolis (or anywhere) by public transport. Very few buses. For a few more euros / night Ibis Budget Sophia Antipolis is probably a nicer experience"

"If you want to sleep in hotel for one day, I suppose it is the best choice to choose. We had a double room. The room’s wall was very gorgeous. For breakfast, We could eat lany type of food. But honestly, the price was too high."
