Hotel Pietracap

"We loved staying at Pietracap. Its a comfortable clean hotel, with air-con in the bedrooms, friendly helpful staff, great pool and terrace, a quite garden for relaxing in and a beach 10 mins walk away. There are a few shops and restaurants nearby. They had a grill by the pool in the evening."

"Hotel Pietracap unfortunately did not meet our expectations, which is especially disappointing when you're looking forward to a relaxing stay. The hotel and the room we had booked felt dated. Although we were offered another room, it did not improve the situation (small, a strange cleaning smell, issues with the bathroom fixtures, no minibar/fridge, and a sliding bathroom door that kept sticking). In our opinion, this is not what you would expect from a modern four-star hotel. The overall atmosphere also wasn't what we were looking for. There were several loud families around the pool, which didn't match our desire for peace and quiet. We therefore asked if we could cancel the remaining nights of our stay free of charge, but unfortunately this was not possible. We understand that a hotel, its atmosphere, or the mix of guests may turn out differently from what you expected. However, this is exactly when a hotel has the opportunity to demonstrate genuine hospitality and customer service. We were disappointed that there was no willingness to show any flexibility or offer even a partial refund. Instead, the hotel strictly adhered to its booking policy, leaving us to check out dissatisfied, find alternative accommodation at short notice, and still pay the full amount for our original booking. One final point worth mentioning: there is little to no mobile phone reception at the hotel. The Wi-Fi works well, but making phone calls or sending text messages is virtually impossible."

"Very nice hotel. Staff efficient, helpful and speak good english. Room was spacious with brilliant air conditioning. Breakfast was continental as expected."
