Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh

"The setting is spectacular: a vast, beautifully designed hillside property that tumbles down to the Red Sea with sweeping views and a genuinely calm atmosphere—especially around the main beach. It feels like a park, and the house reef is right off the hotel’s beaches, so snorkelling is a highlight. Our room was spacious and well kept, though beds and pillows weren’t as plush as we’ve had at St. Regis. This is a very family-friendly resort, the team are lovely, and the dining scene is a real strength: 8–10 restaurants, consistently very good. Where the hotel falls short is in consistency and guest handling. On arrival (Nov 2024) we came by taxi and were left waiting at the outer gate rather than being welcomed inside—an avoidable first impression at this level. Breakfast was fine but not memorable; fruit (notably mangos) is cut only after you arrive and popular items ran out daily. After raising it, management arranged extra fruit, which we appreciated; ideally, it should simply be ready. Issue management needs more polish. A water-pipe break near our villa cut water to many rooms. No proactive call or notice; we learned via chat and went to bed without being able to shower. Water briefly returned the next morning, then was cut again—again without updates. After we asked about compensation, the hotel eventually invited us to dinner and a massage—both excellent, and the spa is world-class—yet the communication gap shouldn’t have happened. Dining prices are internationally ambitious: a “rib-eye” at the Italian restaurant was an entrecôte and was ~US$200; wine selection is limited and priced at top-city levels. Great food—but value doesn’t always land. Bottom line: a superb resort and likely among Egypt’s very best. If arrival handling, breakfast execution, and incident communication match the quality of the setting and spa, it would be exceptional."

"We have been visiting this hotel since 2005 which was two years after its initial opening since then the property has expanded in size to now 90 acres. The four seasons at Sharm is by far the jewel in the crown in southern Sinai It has plans for a golf course which is currently under development and will be a great feature for the resort The standard and quality of this hotel is exceptional and the proof of that is its consistency it never disappoints and always delivers a unique experience. The staff are always polite and friendly with ever a professional attitude whether they are a senior member of management or a team member from a department. This is a wonderful hotel, resort in which to go and simply relax and recharge your batteries. The ambience and atmosphere is truly amazing and the attention to detail both within rooms and the grounds is exceptional, the restaurants are outstanding. The menus and quality of food is extremely good. Some members within the hotel truly deserve a mention both for their attitude and outstanding commitment to their role, I would like to particularly mention.Ahmed Nesmy head of concierge this gentleman has a natural warmth,empathy, and strong communication skills to anticipate and meet guests needs effectively he is truly an ambassador to the hotel and resort and deserves recognition Mr Tamer Hussein the resort manager who is an extremely polite and professional ambassador for the four seasons he should be congratulated on delivering a truly wonderful and exceptional experience at the resort I would also like to take the opportunity to thank housekeeping and room service for likewise an exceptional experience producing very very high standards these departments often go unnoticed but to my mind are an integral part of the experience I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel as it is truly a beautiful place"
