UNFORGETTABLE ESCAPE IN ANCIENT LUXOR

Nestled up near the banks of the River Nile with the rolling hills of Thebes serving us a spectacular backdrop, ancient wonders and modern comforts co-exist at the Iberotel Luxor by JAZ. Enjoy a relaxing, sun-soaked holiday, knowing that plenty of Egypt’s most renowned tourist attractions are also within easy reach.

Before venturing out, however, make sure you put time aside to relax by the pool. This one is extra-special, thanks to its fantastic location overlooking the Nile. There’s a handy bar nearby, too, if you fancy a cocktail, and lines of sun loungers where you can chill with a cocktail or spoil yourself rotten with a poolside massage.

Find out more about Luxor

Known as the “world’s greatest open-air museum”, Luxor is a treasure trove of ancient wonders. The city is sprawled along one side of the Nile, offering sights such the world-famous Temple of Karnak, Temple of Luxor, and Sphinx Avenue, as well as the Mummification Museum. Not to be outdone, cross over to the other side and you'll find the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs were laid in elaborate tombs, including the legendary Tutankhamun, whose mask has captivated the world since its discovery. And you can even walk in the footsteps of the man who excavated it from its resting place in the tomb, as Howard Carter's house is now home to a museum.
