"We booked our holiday through TUI, which included private transfers. Upon arrival at the Baron Palace, we received a warm welcome and a clear introduction to the hotel. The bellboys greeted us immediately and took our luggage up to our room, setting a great first impression. The TUI representative met us the following morning to explain the various tours and excursions available. While the TUI trips sounded appealing, we found them to be much more expensive than similar options offered on sites like GetYourGuide. The rep did, however, provide very useful information about tipping. Generally, if you’re happy with the service, a tip of £1–£2 every few days is appreciated. You may also be able to exchange British notes for coins at the hotel reception. Transfers & Shuttle Service Private transfer on arrival: smooth and efficient, everything was clearly explained. Shuttle bus: free once per stay between 11:00–14:00. Outside of these hours, it costs £20 per person (return). There isn’t a huge amount to see in Hurghada, but you could manage a short visit within the free shuttle window if you plan well. Hotel & Facilities Room service: excellent — prompt, clean, and reliable. Beach: beautiful with free day beds. Great service and atmosphere. Staff: consistently friendly, attentive, and professional. If you’ve booked the Premium All-Inclusive package, you’ll have access to several complimentary services, though staff may occasionally try to upsell extras. Bars & Restaurants The bar staff were exceptional — very attentive and quickly learned our regular orders. By day two, they even started making signature cocktails to our personal taste. The hotel offers six à la carte restaurants for dinner and an à la carte lunch, all of which were fantastic. We didn’t eat in the buffet restaurant once, as the à la carte options were of such a high standard. Special mentions: Shebam Restaurant: outstanding service, especially from the head waiter — incredibly attentive. Ali (Beach Service): always friendly and ensured our drinks were topped up regularly. On-Site Shops Shops within the resort are extremely expensive, so it’s best to purchase essentials before arriving or in Hurghada. For example: Snorkel masks: £35 each in the hotel, but we bought two for £15 in Hurghada (same quality). Imodium: £9 in the hotel pharmacy vs. £4 in Hurghada’s marina pharmacy. Entertainment The evening entertainment was a bit disappointing — though, to be fair, we don’t tend to stay up very late, so others may enjoy it more. Overall Impression We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Baron Palace. The facilities, food, and staff made it a luxurious and relaxing experience. While some prices (trips, shop items) are high, the overall quality and service more than make up for it. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a relaxing, all-inclusive getaway with excellent dining and exceptional hospitality."

"We arrived yesterday from Luton & it is the small things that make a great holiday for me. When we arrived the airport was crazy (but I will post separately). The shared shuttle was shocking. We waited over an hour for a family with kids & then sat on the tarmac for no apparent reason. Fast forward & arrive at the hotel. Check in was fast. First impressions ok (if you like waiting), they forgot the welcome drink etc, the porter took us to our room, which was fine, not as clean as all other posts but sleepable (after all the travelling). This morning woken by the people next door being extra loud & you could actually hear them vomiting (don’t know if she was pregnant or too much all inc). Pool went down about 9.30 most beds already reserved although the pool host did find us some. Spent the day at the pool & in the spa (which was rushed & not worth 150 Euros. Out for dinner first night was buffet (can only be described as average). Drink glasses & sizes get smaller as you go along. Tonight our reservation was at 9.30 (too late for us but the only availability) waiters are surly after a long shift. Food choices limited as non of this or that. So far nor great wish I had booked the Sensatori."
