LUXURY AND TRANQUILLITY
The JAZ Makadi Oasis Resort is an oasis of luxury and tranquillity. Located around 250m from the private beach, snorkelling and diving in the turquoise waters is never too far away. You could try your hand at a range of water sports too, including sailing and paddle-boating.
At the resort, expect a village style layout combined with decorative tiles, domed ceilings and intricate archways in this stylish hotel. Centre stage outdoors you'll find the refreshing pool, and indoors there's facilities to keep active whilst away, including a gym and health club. For those wanting a little more relaxation time, head to the steam room, sauna or Jacuzzi.
There's a number of restaurants and bars aplenty. Our favourite is the El Hambra restaurant, featuring distinct and varied buffet style feasts for breakfast lunch and dinner. The Beach Bar serves snacks and refreshments from mid-morning until early evening. Jump on the frequent shuttle bus and head to the nearby waterpark – Makadi Water World - kids will love the huge number of waterslides and is a great family day out. As part of the All Inclusive package at this hotel, you can dine at an à la carte restaurant once per stay – you'll find plenty of choice at the sister hotels in the complex.
Please note that the gym, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi are subject to an extra charge, while the tennis court is free of charge only during the day time.

Studded with hotels and spas, it's one of the newer resorts on the block and features a relaxed atmosphere with a gentler vibe than Hurghada. Yet, there's plenty on offer for all ages and stages. Fine sandy beaches stretch tranquilly into waters that are just brimming with colourful corals and fascinating marine life. It's one of the area's best spots for exploring underwater, with caves, reefs and islands lying just off shore and a plethora of scuba and snorkelling shops back on land. Young ones - and those young at heart - will flip out for Egypt's biggest aquapark while Mini Egypt's charming miniature replicas will keep everyone happy for an afternoon at least.
