"The resort is beautiful, clean, and the rooms are fine. Cleaning staff and the lifeguards at the pool where the best! The massages where very good, I recommend you book at least one. However, there were quite a few downsides for me. When you were lying by the pool, staff would come by very often to try and sell you something, and a "no" wasn't always accepted the first time. If it wasn't for the day trips, it was for the spa, quads, massages, etc. I felt that because of this, I couldn't fully enjoy my rest. I would avoid the spa, they are very pushy and expensive for the quality of the treatment you receive there. I recieved the manicure I found it to be very unprofessional, and I was pressured into buying a huge number of expecive products—30 euros for face cream, for example, but they tried to sell me something for my nails, feed and a peeling. Although the animation team organized many activities, we only received an invitation to participate twice. Also, in the evenings, after the buffet restaurant closes, there is nowhere to get any food. Alcohol and soda are only available untill 24h. At all the swimming pools, there was only one snack bar, no healthy snacks were available and often not everything on the menu was available. The phone in our hotelroom did not work and we only had 2 european outlets in a room for three people. Also it took very long to charge something."

"Astonished by the positive reviews of this hotel. Yesterday I asked for late check-out for tomorrow and was told it was €40 until 6pm. then I’m told to come back tomorrow. I came back this morning. Told to come back after 8pm. I came back after 8pm to be told I have to check out at midday tomorrow. That’s thrown all my plans for tomorrow, which were made around the offer of late check-out. I understand the need to make rooms ready for the next guests, but a lot of Hurghada flights arrive well after midday, which is when they would need to arrive to justify 12 check-out. Across the week, I’ve not been able to sit on my balcony because of constant noise from building work literally metres away from my room. Morning, afternoon, evening, night - noise. Asked to move room, but the hotel is ‘full’. Or the staff couldn’t be bothered. That’s on top of there being building sites either side of the hotel. It also affects the terrace so that option was out although it’s smoking central there anyway which is poor for a family hotel. I asked reception for directions to a bank at one point. She took a phone call (random) then told me to turn right out of the hotel. Nothing more. Typical of this hotel. Too many lazy and poor staff ruining it for the really good staff of which there are too few. The main restaurant is poor for breakfast and very poor otherwise. Food is bland, stale, lukewarm. Choice is poor. The burger restaurant was very good food. The Greek was inauthentic but ok. The Egyptian made us ill. The Asian was inauthentic but ok. The snack bar for lunch was good to be fair. The entertainment during the day is disorganised in the extreme. It is not the same as the notice boards which, in turn, are not the same as each other. Most of the advertised kids club activities don’t actually happen. No one knows what is going on. And sometimes activities just don’t happen. The evening shows range from poor for amateurs to ok. The light technology shows was the best of a bad bunch. It’s no wonder that it is so sparsely attended. The one night you go to a sister hotel I had hopes for better but it was only marginally so which was disappointing given how many people got taken there. The hotel also allows hawkers to constantly hassle you. I’ve been offered a hotel massage at least 20 times. I met someone who booked one and he described it as fraudulent mis-selling it was that bad. The pools are good, as are the slides for the kids. Lifeguards do a good job. The sea near the hotel has significant litter volumes in it. The hotel does not help by using plastic and polystyrene for everything. Parts of the beach near the sea also smell of sewage which makes you not want to go in. Not sure if there is meant to be coral but there is not. You can see a few fish from the pier. The waiting staff are very friendly which is really nice. Great with the kids. Entertainment staff too are friendly but that’s not enough. Boccia with only 11 balls. Waterpolo without hats. Really basic stuff that all hotels of this type should do as the bear minimum is missing. If you want to sit around doing nothing all week then maybe you’d like this hotel but it’s nowhere near the standard I expected and mikes away from what I paid for."
