"Myself & a friend visited to hopefully enjoy a chat & a nice cup of something. It was a hot, sunny day but no outside umbrellas, so if you prefer to sit in the shade, then inside is the only option. Compared to another local eatery, this one has some cleanliness issues. Our inside table had a toilet roll under the leg to level it & the area could have certainly benefited from a clean! Not the best in the area."

"I called the restaurant a few days ago to ask if I could book lunch for 12. They said they only took bookings for the restaurant which was already fully booked but we could turn up and eat in the bar or outside (same menu) if there was space. We arrived at 1245. There was plenty of space in the bar for 12 or more people, space for 20+ plus space outside. We were about to purchase drinks. I asked if we could order food. The waitress said, "I'll go and check with the kitchen". She camme back and informed us they weren't taking any more orders for food (at 1245 on a Sunday!!!). "Why?", I asked. "We're already too busy", she replied. I can only guess the manager wasn't there and the kitchen didn't want the business. Really poor. We won't be going there again!!!!"

"We have visited mainly for Sunday lunch for many years. The quality and quantity remains at a high standard. Whilst we appreciate prices need to increase the latest one is over 20% Still great quality so ok. Unfortunately as well as a hefty price increase the meat portions/slices have reduced, they are slicing the meat so thin you would think they had used a razor blade. Come on be reasonable otherwise your business will suffer."
