"My husband and I stayed for a week at the BEL AIR AZUR RESORT in Hurghada and we can sincerely say that it was a beautiful vacation, much more than we expected!
After several searches on Booking, we were looking for a property that offered an all-inclusive package, a beautiful beach, and all the necessary comforts to enjoy a week of relaxation. The BEL AIR AZUR RESORT seemed to reflect what we were looking for, but once we arrived, we discovered that the reality truly exceeded our expectations!
The room was beautiful, spacious, and very clean. We had chosen a pool-front room and, despite the location, we never had any problems with noise or disturbances. The cleanliness was impeccable throughout the week: the room was tidied up every day and water was always at our disposal. A huge compliment to all the cleaning and housekeeping staff, who perform their work with care and attention.
Another wonderful surprise was discovering that the property is connected to two other resorts, with the possibility of also accessing their pools and beaches. We did not take advantage of it, but it is certainly an added value. Despite being a three-star hotel, the BEL AIR AZUR RESORT has the atmosphere of a small tourist village, with large spaces, different areas to enjoy, and everything needed to spend a pleasant vacation without necessarily having to leave the property.
The sea is simply wonderful! The walkway that leads to the sea allows you to admire the water from different perspectives, with shades that change from one side to the other, from turquoise to a more intense blue. The water is incredibly transparent and, arriving at the end of the walkway, we had the chance to dive in and admire the coral reef and many fish. I say this even as a non-expert person who is a bit afraid of the depth: it was a beautiful and unforgettable experience. A sea that has nothing to envy of much more famous destinations!
The location is also convenient: just outside the property you can find shops, stores, and supermarkets. We, however, had such a good time that we chose to spend practically all our time at the hotel, including the evenings. Between the pool bar, the cocktails, the shows, and the pleasant atmosphere that you breathe, we didn't feel the need to go elsewhere.
But the real added value of this resort is the people. ❤️
We would like to thank all the staff from the bottom of our hearts: from the reception to the managers, from the doormen and guards to the waiters, the bartenders, the cleaning staff, and all those who work behind the scenes. We found kind, helpful, smiling people who were always ready to welcome us with a good morning or a sincere greeting.
One thing we particularly appreciated is the respect shown toward the guests. Even those who offer excursions, massages, or other activities do so with kindness, without being pushy: if you say no, they let you quietly enjoy your vacation, always with a smile. For us, it is a very important aspect.
Being Italian, we initially didn't know what to expect, also because during our stay we met very few fellow countrymen. Yet we met people of different nationalities, made friends, and shared truly pleasant moments. We felt welcomed, at ease, and, above all, as if we were at home. It is a feeling that cannot be taken for granted and that we will always carry with us.
A special thanks goes to the entire restaurant staff for the kindness, helpfulness, and smiles with which they welcomed us every day. And a truly special thanks to Moustafa, from the pool bar, who always welcomed us in a fantastic way, making us feel special with his kindness and his manner. It is precisely these attentions that make the difference and make a vacation even more beautiful!
Compliments also to the entertainment staff! Even though they are a small group, composed of three entertainers, they commit themselves every evening to proposing different shows and activities. They were always nice, kind, and engaging, and we participated with pleasure in all their evenings. We also joined them for a night at the club, during which we had a lot of fun!
A hug and a special thanks to Zee and Hamu, who gave us moments of fun and beautiful memories. Keep it up, because your enthusiasm and your commitment reach the guests!
We also organized some excursions, including a wonderful day in Orange Bay, relying on Shimi, whom we met through the reception. He provided us with all the necessary information and was always available and attentive to our needs, even checking upon our return that everything had gone well. We really appreciated his professionalism and the fairness of the prices.
Another unforgettable experience was the excursion to Luxor. Sure, the 3 a.m. wake-up call and the return around 8 p.m. are demanding, but it was absolutely worth it! We were a group of eight people, together with a Danish family and a couple of French friends: a beautiful atmosphere was created and we spent a day full of emotions and discoveries.
Our guide was spectacular and a special thanks also goes to our driver Goma, a thoughtful, very kind person, always smiling and attentive throughout the trip. In this case too, Shimi proved to be present and available even after the excursion, making sure we were satisfied. Organization, professionalism and a fair price: truly everything was impeccable!
In conclusion, we sincerely recommend the BEL AIR AZUR RESORT to anyone looking for a vacation dedicated to the sea, relaxation, fun and, above all, hospitality.
We arrived with expectations and left with much more: beautiful experiences, new friendships, smiles and memories that we will carry in our hearts. For us, this property would deserve much more than three stars, especially for the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the services and the extraordinary kindness of the people who work there.
