"I came across this hotel while visiting the gallery located in the same building a couple of years ago, and thought it can be a good option for my short visits to Cairo as its location is very central. I was wrong. The one good thing about this hotel is some of its super friendly and helpful staff (namely Mohamed Rabee'a from the concierge who was always pleasant and exteremly helpful, and Islam from the reception). Other than that it is not worth the money. -The manager (her name is Samar) has no idea have to be in the business of hospitality. She has a lot to learn in professional conduct and client orientation. She was super rude during a very strange encounter I had at the hotel. Also most of the reception staff do not seem to have received any training at all in professional conversation nor on how to deal with clients. One of them was extremely rude (even hostile), as he was apparently scared from his manager, who seems to think of herself as if she is a school principle not a hotel manager, and treats everybody with such an attitude, including the hotel guests. -the room I had was spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was not very comfortable, there was no mug or glasses provided with the water kettle and the coffee quality was really poor. -The layout of the bathroom is rather strange with no separate shower area, every time I showered the water sprayed all over the toilet and the floor. -The cleaning was ok, but they need to put more effort in making the place sparkling clean, and ensuring the do not forget to change towels or provide toilet paper, tissues and so."

"I checked in at this place today. When I went inside the room and opened the curtain to see the balcony the whole window with a peace of iron fell over my head. I got nauseas and very lightheaded. I went back to reception to tell the them about her incident . The bellboy was with me when it happened. The receptionist and the manager didn’t apologised once. They told me they’ll upgrade me to a suite. I told them I was feeling ill and I should probably see a doctor. The manager a woman with a hijab and a very disgusting attitude told me that she couldn’t help me that her place was a hostel, not a hospital. Not once asked me if I was ok. I told her I wanted to leave she asked why if she was upgrading me. I told her I didn’t feel safe after the accident and her behaviour she told me to call booking to cancel. I had to tell her I was going to call the police for her to accept my free cancellation request. Do not stay here I repeat do not stay here. This place is dangerous and the woman managing the place is evil truly evil. Anyone knows a head injury could cause serious consequences to a persons health. She really thought upgrading me was a big deal and the accident and my injury weren’t. You have been warned if you choose book this hotel and something happens to you, you have been warned. Am attaching photos of the things that fell off in my head and the photo of the hole left when the whole curtain came off. Scary very scary. As for the woman managing the place, may karma come to you at speed light perhaps only like that you will understand these type of accidents perhaps if it happens to you or to a love one you will become more human. I don’t know who hired you but you’re definitely not trained to handle accidents and you should know some first aid training specially if the accident was caused by the property you manage. You’re dangerous and your property is falling down. This was so bad I’m now at the airport because I don’t want to stay in a country where my life is worth nothing. That’s how this woman treats tourist like they’re animals. People be careful."
