"This is an older hotel with many service issues. First, this hotel needs to make it very clear when making a reservation (and on the confirmation) that this is a "dry" hotel and no alcohol is served or allowed on the premises. All guests' luggage is searched upon arrival and any alcohol is confiscated and not returned upon departure. I reserved a deluxe room which listed a variety of amenities such as an outlet near the bed that was not provided. Very misleading. The rooms were also very small. The closet only had a very small space where I could hang dresses and pants without hitting the safe and drawers that were in the space. I had no hot water in the shower or my sink on my first day. I called and asked that somebody come to fix it and nobody came (I think it was an issue with the language barrier as not all staff spoke English). Later I went to the front desk and found somebody who could speak English and he sent somebody to my room and got it fixed. But, by then, I had to take an extremely cold shower. The shower door did not seal well and is very small so the bathroom floor got flooded. My bathmat was soaked. Housekeeping took the soaked bath mat but did not replace it. I also only received one bath towel. I found housekeeping in the hallway and asked for a mat - she said they didn't have any and she would bring it in an hour. That did not happen. Later, I was able to get an extra towel from another housekeeper so I used that as a mat instead. This occurred on each day of my stay which was frustrating. As mentioned, there was a lack of outlets near the bed so I could not charge my phone and keep it near me for use as an alarm, to check the time, etc. There was no real desk in the room making it difficult to work. There are several restaurants on site which was very convenient. I found the food to be excellent at the Lebanese and Italian restaurants, however, the service was very, very slow. We had limited time to eat during breaks and many times, the food took so long to come that we had to rush and eat very quickly to get back to our meeting in time. The grounds of the hotel were very pretty and well maintained. There were plenty of walking paths and they also had a golf cart service if you preferred not to walk."
