"We paid at check-in, and two days later we were told that the payment had not been received. We were repeatedly pressured to pay again and felt very uncomfortable during these interactions. We trusted the hotel because of its good reviews and made a second payment at reception. More than a month later, no refund has been issued. Our bank has confirmed that both payments were successfully received by the hotel. Despite being aware of this, the hotel has not returned the money and is no longer responding to our messages. This has been a very distressing and disappointing experience. While this may not happen to every guest, based on our experience we would advise others to avoid this hotel and be extremely cautious if asked to make an additional payment."
