Chic retreat in Giza
Hyatt Centric Cairo West is a real head-turner. From its modern facilities to its eye-catching design, this place has got chic retreat written all over it. And within 20 minutes’ drive of the Great Pyramid of Giza? Tell us more…
When you’re not traipsing round the Grand Egyptian Museum or marvelling at the Great Sphinx, you’d do well to check out the swish pool scene at the hotel. Boasting a built-in billiards table, a Jacuzzi, and a spacious terrace where you can soak up the sun, it’s got bags of lazy day potential.
Elsewhere there’s a fitness centre that’s open 24hrs, so you can fit a workout in at any time of the day or night, and an aqua gym if you fancy ditching your traditional routine. Got little ones with you? They’ll love Camp Hyatt, where youngsters can get stuck into the likes of painting, drawing, and games.
The main restaurant takes you on a journey round the world, with local flavours, international favourites, and more to tempt your taste buds. Then there’s a Grab N Go snack spot that’s perfect if you need a quick bite between meals – before you head out for some sightseeing – and a trio of watering holes. Between the pool bar, the cigar lounge, and the lobby bar, you’ll never be too far from a tipple.
And as if all of that isn’t enough, the hotel shares its postcode with a culinary complex that’s home to six restaurants, a rooftop bar, and a parade of shops – what more could you ask for?
Just so you know, as this property is brand-new for 2025, selected images are artist's impressions of proposed finishes, and may differ from the final product.

Find out more about Giza
Standing on the limestone Giza Plateau, the most iconic of the local sights is the Great Pyramid, which is one of the Seven Ancient Wonders of the World. A cedar barge found near the pyramid is displayed in the Solar Boat Museum, while the Great Sphinx of Giza is another remarkably well-preserved monument, rising more than 200 feet into the sky.
You can swap pharaohs for flora, fauna, and exotic animals at the Giza Zoo, which is a popular spot for families in the downtown part of the city. Meanwhile, El Haram is a bustling neighbourhood offering lots of dining and entertainment options, as well as the Grand Egyptian Museum, which is set to open its doors for the first time in early 2024.
