"We booked this hotel for its convenient location for just a single night stay. We arrived early evening, the staff were friendly and we found our room. As we arrived late we almost immediately went out. When we arrived back around 11pm we realised that we only had some flimsy net and no actual curtain. We thought it was odd, but maybe their way of doing things, and as it was late we couldn't be bothered to ask at reception. We discovered the next morning that everyone else had curtains - there isn't even a rail incur room to hang them! To top it all we had this lovely red glow from (what we discovered the next day) was a Gentleman's Club next door! In addition the toilet was absolutely filthy with stains. Nice location, but we'd not stop here again."

"British Airways holidays booked 2 adult flights but we ended up with a "single room, dual occupancy" I'm unable to ascertain whether it was the fault of the hotel or travel company but the single rooms are definitely not suitable for dual occupancy. Beware"

"The room we were allocated was quite small and in need of refurbishing. Probably why the hotel is competitive in price. However the hotel is ideally situated near to the railway station and the city centre."
