Nh Collection Copenhagen

"The hotel layout, decor and design is lovely, as was my room with ceiling height windows, great lighting and good air conditioning. I had a high floor room and the views across Copenhagen were lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the room facilities were good. It’s a circa 20min Metro trip from the airport and a circa 4min walk from the station so very convenient. Tivoli Gardens and other central attractions are about a 20-25 min walk or closer. I arrived late on Friday after a long day of work and travel, so the next day I relaxed in the room with room service breakfast and used the in room coffee facilities. I unfortunately broke a glass which I informed room service/reception a few times, however it took some time for housekeeping to arrive to address this at which point I told them not to bother until I left the room. I didn’t leave the room until about 3 pm on returning. It was obvious the bed had been made but the used towel was strewn on the window ledge, coffee pods weren’t replaced and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned to a standard. I would expect (toothpaste stains, smudged mirrors etc.). When I did arrive on the first night I was hoping to dine in the restaurant I was directed to the windowless ‘restaurant’ off the lobby which was ok but not very scenic, I remember asking is there anywhere to eat in the hotel with ‘nice views’ and was advised not. I now know Restaurant NU & DA should have been offered as an option and I’m quite disappointed I dint get to enjoy that dining experience. I hoped to receive an itemised invoice after my stay but had to chase it over 24 of checking out. It’s come in three parts and no acknowledgment. So over all a pleasant stay but missing a few of the finer details of a 5* experience in my opinion. I would however stay again if just for the room quality and relative value for money."

My heart is full & my mom was full of joy by the warm extra gesture and how beautiful the room was!
