Amathus Beach Hotel

"The best experience ever! Held the wedding of my daughter at Amathus Beach Hotel on 11th October 2025 and everything and everyone was amazing. We were made to feel like family and nothing was too much trouble. The staff and service were impeccable! I just wish i could remember the names of every member of the staff as they all deserve the highest praise from security staff, to the staff that moved all our stuff back and forth, the waiters etc everyone was amazing. Special thanks to Katerina Yennari who was with us every step of the way, Panayiotis the banqueting supervisor, Christos the waiter and every single person who helped make our day so special. If you want the best experience ever could not recommend enough. Well done to each and every member of staff. The gardens and pools are beautiful just wish i had the time to enjoy them as were so busy with wedding. Never mind next time."

"We were given a room on 4th floor after booking superior sea view. Sadly the room felt very bare and the bathroom comprised of a small toilet to the right as one walked in, a shower cubicle on the left and a tiny space for a single sink also on the left. Really disappointed in the room for a 5 star hotel. This was one of their 'refurbished' rooms. The design was quite bad, very bare and felt just 'essential' Barely any drawers/storage and very difficult to use the kettle. We were then given room 138 which was an unrefurbished room. The bathroom was awful. Disability bath with door, very small, diifficult to get to shower control without getting wet. One of the most unpleasant bathrooms in years of travelling. One of the joys of 5 star vacation is resting in the room, sadly both these rooms just average for the price. The staff were all totally wonderful. The food was quite good, the odd blip. Grounds are beautiful. We would not return because of the basic rooms but would look for something more akin to 5 star bathrooms! Room cleaning was below average until we complained Dirty cups left overnight which were not washed at 'turndown'. We felt the bare minimum was done though there were tons of staff always on the corridors. They have a beautiful restaurant on the front. There seemed to be only one fresh fish at 'market price' which we hate. Had there been fish courses on the menu apart from seafood, we would have eaten there every night. As it was we ate out due to not much other choice."

"This is our 4th time 🤩 Cuisine - the drinks are OUTSTANDING (especially the pina coladas) - buffet food is always different and out of this world Service - staff always willing to help and greet you - always attentive and helpful Activities - there is a inflatable activity course and it is loved by all visitors - there are water slides in the vicinity - there is a good pier for jumping off - 3m deep pool - separate space for salt water pools and an adult only pool This hotel is great for families with safe areas and tons of cats. Scenic locations can be found in every corner. It is probably the best hotel in Cyprus 🇨🇾❤️"
