Theo Sunset Bay Hotel

"This is my last night of a week long solo holiday at Theo sunset and I have to say I loved it, the room a side sea view room was incredible, room 412, the food was lovely including the buffet breakfasts, the staff were incredible from the room cleaners to the waiting staff. Pool areas with loads of loungers empty something that’s quite rare on holiday. Weather amazing and I got to see part of a lovely wedding that took place at the hotel when I was there. I 100 percent would come back, plus I got a last minute bargain which I’m so happy with. It’s a bit far away from the town but I was just looking to relax mostly in the hotel anyway so it didn’t bother me. Thank you for an amazing break, they even gave me a sandwich and bottle of water for free when I arrived at midnight which I thought was a lovely touch, highly recommend"

"Just retuned last week from Sunset bay , What a lovely hotel , everyone and everything was spot on , We wanted somewhere Quiet to wind down and that’s exactly what we got , The place was spotless , the pools were spot on . We went all inclusive which was good value as the food and drinks were decent , especially as there arn’t many bars or restaurants outside the complex . All the staff were helpful and really nice all week . The hotel is located on a main road which enables you to catch the local buses either to Paphos ( 10-15 mins ) or nip down to coral bay town within 5 minutes ( 2 euros ) , where all the sites ,bars and restaurants are in abundance . The rooms are nice and upto date , with mini fridge and air con . The room we was in had a nice side sea view , which is Always nice , the building we was in was really quite especially in the mornings , Loads of sun beds available, without having to get up early .( early June ) The crowning glory has to be the views , honestly they are amazing , especially the view from the restaurant at evening , just watching the Sun go down like that while have some food and drink was spectacular. All in all a great stay . As a tip to families, this hotel is more of an adults relaxing hotel , not really geared up for children, there is a small kids pool and play area, but it wouldn’t have been enough to entertain my 2 back in the day Lol ."

"Me & my family ( 2x adults & 2x kids 11 & 15) came here in June....1st impressions we arrived very late and had a lovely welcome by Jake he was so lovely & welcoming!! We got to our room it was lovely & clean, we paid extra on arrival to have a junior suite with a sea view ❤️ only down side to our room was for a family of 4 there was very little storage for 4x people so we left all our things in the cases & for beds for the children was the sofa... wasn't given any blankets just sheets but we asked for extra & these was provided 😊 the hotel & views were beautiful & most staff we met were absolutely lovely. The hotel is very quite & not a lot going on other than in the morning water exercise class, very low music played & not many kids so our children got quite bored as there wasn't really a family fun vibe kids got told off if jumped in the pool 🤵‍♂ the food honestly im not fussy but there was very little choice & the snack bar is in the main restaurant & not outside and served between 3.30pm & 6pm this was actually ok just a shame was not outside near the pool ect. However the ice cream you can get from the bar was absolutely amazing we had lots of ice cream 🍦 the entertainment was not great either again there was no vibe or engagement with people & definitely not children. We went out alot on trips & tea out, the bus service is brilliant & easy to use & there is a bus stop right outside the hotel. Overall we had a fabulous holiday, personally as a family I would not return to this hotel as it was quite boring for us personally, but I think for mature couples wanting peace, quite, beautiful views this would be perfect 👌 I definitely would not recommend for family's which i hate saying but unless they cater a bit more for family's abit of kids entertainment or kids pool games ect they get bored. Also food choice needs to improve as we really stuggled & ate out most evenings which we've never had this issue before, yes you can't cater to everyone I completely understand but just a little more choice might help."
