Toxotis Hotel Apartments

"Location is amazing, 8 min walk to beach, 2 mins to local bars and restaurants and right on the bus route to Protaras and Ayia Napa which 2 euro each way coming and going every 10 mins. The hotel is quiet in comparison to others we have been to, there’s no sun bed wars! The kids sides are great, barely saw our children as happy on these all day. Pool is cold but others found this ok. Personal preference. Some music playing during the day which we like. Entertainment is minimal but this suits us. We don’t like being pestered all day to join activities. The lady running the activities is lovely and great with the kids. Food is what you would expect from any other all inclusive. It’s fresh and it’s hot!! We chose to eat out twice but this is again personal preference. Waiters are lovely and work very hard. They always ensured that 9 of us could sit together. Snack bar is disappointing as only open 3-5pm. We like to sometimes miss breakfast and use snack bar mid morning but this didn’t cause us any issues. However given it’s the only place outside with shade, it’s annoying you can’t sit in there unless eating. Kids could ask for as many ice creams from the bar as they wanted during the day. They did run out one day but within an hour more arrived. Shout out to Tassos (sorry is not spelt right)!! Storage in rooms are a bit of an issue for 4 of us, we lived out of suitcases for the week and the bathroom is hard to navigate, barely any storage. The bathroom flooded every time we used shower. Towels changed daily, beds made daily. The hotel could be cleaner, the windows around the upper floors inside and outside are very dirty. Someone spilt a drink on the stairs and this was never cleaned up just dried in (red wine). We paid 5 euro each to hire towels and told we could change when we wanted. We managed to change once as told there were no clean ones each time we went. There didn’t seem to be that many blue towels around so not sure what the issue was. We wouldn’t return to this hotel but would definitely return to the area. We don’t tend to return to the same hotel twice anyway!! All in all we are leaving here tomorrow feeling very relaxed and have had a lovely holiday as a family."

"Don't buy a room at Toxotis if you want to drink milk for lunch and dinner. I got this two years ago but not this year. Tassos and his boss were not good and so I only get milk for breakfast. Polina was nice and helpful, Sedvalina in the bar was nice and all the staff. The food was very good, no piña colada or San Francisco in the bar or iced coffee."

"Just home ftom a very nice first time break in Cyprus. We stayed at the Toxotis hotel, and the review I’m writing is very honest. Receptionists Not very helpful, not interested in dealing with any query’s. Just pass the buck and tell u to come back later, and hopefully someone else will sort it. One receptionist Niki, seems to be left to deal with all the problems, that the rest can’t be bothered with, she was very helpful, but the rest need replaced. We were on a late night flight from Belfast, and there was no food or water, left for us when we arrived, other late flights from other countries got sandwiches when they arrived, as we saw this. Bar staff/waiters Top class ladies and gents. Great service, no issues at all. Went out of there to help u. Chefs Food was first class, and very tasty, different themes every night which was great to see. Breakfast delicious, eggs made the way u like them. Something for everyone in the dining area. All in all Would I return to the Toxotis, yes I would. Great hotel and comfy rooms. Cleaners first class, room cleaned everyday. Apart from the receptionists, which a lot of people were complying about, it wouldn’t put me off returning."
