"We arrived at the King Jason just after 11pm, a lovely warm reception from the manager, and a glass of fizz and a chocolate. Checked in quickly, provided with 1 keycard (but we requested a 2nd the following morning) and shown to our room, and with help with our luggage. Taken to Block B and room 509. Was dark at that time but had a quick look outside to see what our seaview was like, and was initially quite disappointed to see that our balcony was directly overlooked by the room to our left, and opposite from main block, but we were tired so unpacked and went to bed. A snackbox was provided in our fridge with a sandwich, cake, and fruit, and bottle of bottle. In the morning we realised how overlooked our balcony was, but just thought there was nothing we could really do about it (I do usually spend quite a bit of time on balcony) Room was adequate, spacious, Seperate toilet, nice powerful shower with conditioner and a lovely smelling bodywash/shampoo. 2 sinks with mirrors at different heights, which you can access from both side of sinks. Plenty storage area in sink area. A small kitchenette area with sink, and kettle. I did have to unplug kettle to use the plug for drying my hair, as that was the only one next to main mirror. Hairdryer with diffuser, adequate, but the end did keep falling off. (Im sure would have changed if asked) Bed was comfy, but duvet was too heavy for me, made me feel suffocated sometimes, pillows were fine. AC was decent. There were also little toothbrush packs provided. Our lovely tote bag with the towels in, A local sweet delicacy with honey was a nice touch too. There were USB ports next to the side of the bed too. Its a nice size hotel, small enough to find your way around it without getting lost! Dining was great, buffet options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, plentiful and quite warm. The quality of the food is really good too. You sit, then staff come and ask you what drinks you want, as there is no self making tea/coffee area.Lunch choice were also really good, with the option to eat at Haroub if wanted. Same with evening, plenty of choice for evening buffet with a theme each evening. Also choice of Haroub on evening, excluding Tuesday and Saturday (I think) We tried Haroub once for lunch and for the tasting menu, was very nice, run by the lovely Sophia. Pool area is lovely, split into the the 2 halfs around the round beds, and area around the hydropool, which we stayed around. Hydropool was deep enough and long enough to swim in. Also a jacuzzi with jets. Service around the pool was spot on. From 10am staff would start asking you what you wanted to drink. Would provide water, and would also put your water or cocktails in our yetis which was great. They would come around every 20-30 minutes, Would make anything you asked them too, They became experts in making our favourite, a Miami Vice! Sunbeds were padded and very comfortable, the parasol had useful hooks on to hang your bag/clothes. I loved seeing the cats go past through the day, and loved petting them and feeding them treats. Closest toilet was the one in the spa area (but it did smell as the day got hotter) Didnt try the spa area so cant comment on treatments. Location of hotel is fab. 5 minutes walk to the 'strip', 25 minute walk to turtle bay. A trip to Ayia Napa cost 26 euros with Bolt. A private transfer from airport to hotel cost us 75 euros, and took 40 minutes. We did a daytime wine and food trip to the Troodos Mountins which was amazing. The staff at this hotel are the best we have ever had at any of the 4/5* hotels we have stayed at! I didnt get all their names, but Andre,Anju,Sophia,Elena & Osama were some of the lovely staff we had the pleasure to meet. They all work so hard, so please remember to tip them at the end of your trip (there are tip boxes in most areas) Also big shout out to the lovely lady who kept our room clean, she also left us a gift on our last day which was so thoughtful. Our flight wasnt util 10.40pm so I had enquired about keeping our room on until 6pm, unfortuntely that wasnt possible but they couold arrange for us to use a different room until 6pm for 100 euros, which we did, the manager went above and beyond by allowing us to move the night before so that we could enjoy the full day without having to move on our last morning. That was worth it, we were given 108 in main block with a shared balcony, was nice having somewhere up until we left. We then got the TUI included hotel transfer back to airport, we were 1st pickup of 8, and took 90minutes to get to airport. We had a wonderful week, would definitely recommend this hotel. Would we come back? We would definitely, but we like to try different countries each time. Thanks again"
