Silver Sands Beach Hotel

"Had a great holiday at Silver Sands, Fantastic sea view from our beds which we weren't expecting. Our rooms were cleaned everyday, we couldn't ask anymore of a 3 star hotel. Special thanks to Margarita who did aqua zumba most days during our stay, we would definitely recommend giving it a try. The hotel is situated just off the main street where all the bars and restaurants are."

"Love the place .the staff are amazing. Small things like the odd free drink at the bars makes a place . The engaging polite staff so good . The manger was brilliant for us . The situation of being right on the best place for swimming and snorkeling and seeing turtles. Ok it might need a bit of updating but if you are fussed about the little things that do not matter you will never enjoy yourself ."

"The staff can't do enough for you, every time ive asked for something we've got it and then they've double checked to make sure I have it. Check in was good they gave us loads of info, check out was quick. The room was fine, it is a three star hotel so if you're expecting something grand then lower your expectations, it was a little rough round the edges but perfectly fine for our stay, it was cleaned every day really well, my hair is everywhere once I've brushed it and it was all gone after the cleaner had been. Also, my husband had a few too many drinks at one point and was sick in and around the toilet and the poor maid cleaned it all up, I was sure to give her a tip. The drinks are good, the food is nice, the location is excellent, protarus has so many good bars and restaurants and also caters really well to the little kids. You're a few steps from the beach which is great. The pools a bit cold but nobody seemed to mind, kids were all playing in it. Another great thing about this hotel is that it's not sunbed wars on a morning, you can come down later in the day and there are always loads of sunbeds available. The guys around the pool are also great and always willing to help, like get you a parasol or move your sunbeds for you. I read some bad reviews on the hotel before coming and it really worried me. Unfortunately some people you just can't please and some people expect 5* when you're paying for 3*. This is a budget hotel and it could probably do with a little renovation but in no way did it affect our stay. I would recommend this hotel purely for the lovely staff."
