Alva Hotel Apartments

"We had booked a Superior Junior Suite which we had to pay a supplement for (£670) extra. Upon arrival we were put into Room 303 which was a 1 bed apartment not the Junior Suite we had booked, One lady on Reception (she'll know who she is) was very rude, I have never experienced anyone quite like her before. Reception didn't want to know. Insisted we were in a Suite which Was NOT the picture on website etc. Upon return I have contacted Tui who has liased with the Hotel (who stated we were in a suite 🤣🤣🤣🤣) and now been compensated by Tui, but we will never give back ti this Hotel/Apps ever again."

"We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel. We had rented a small apartment and it met our expectations and more! A small family hotel in the middle of Protaras, which is a living city but not a party town. On the premises there is a pizzeria, bar, pool and sun loungers. We saw the sea from the balcony and it only took a couple of minutes to be down on the beach. The staff were fantastic. Always nice, interested, helpful, and happy. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, taxis, and local transport right outside the hotel."

"Two adults and two children lived in room number 2. Very nice hotel. Very sweet staff at the reception, always friendly and cheerful. Perfect location near everything, shops, bakery, and a wonderful beach. The cleaning was top-notch. We stayed in a superior apartment according to the booking, but we stayed on the ground floor and had a view of a parking lot, which didn't bother us, but we missed the sun on the balcony. Max sun 2 hours per day unfortunately, it lowered the experience a bit."
