Napa Plaza Hotel

"I’d actually go as far to say as my stay at Napa Plaza Hotel was perfect. Personally, we went as a couple, but I can’t think of any type of group this hotel is unsuitable for - friend groups (male or female), couples of all ages, solo travellers, families (with children aged 16+ of course). Whether you prefer to explore, or relax by the pool, this hotel is perfect for any traveller. The key standouts for me were: - Staff Friendliness, Communication, and Accommodation. - The Food - we were bed & breakfast as we like to explore, but we also tried the lunch bar (Soma) twice, and the Italian (Sale e Pepe - photo attached) - both were excellent, far above the average hotel food. I’d be willing to bet that staying All Inclusive is worthwhile. - The Location - Couldn’t pick a better spot in Ayia Napa. Close to nightlife, restaurants, beaches, the harbour - everything you want is nearby. - The rooms - perfect and cleanly. - The pool - you’re not fighting for sun-beds, and the pool clean with a nice temperature. When we stayed, it was our 2 year anniversary on the Thursday. I contacted the hotel via email a week in advance to enquire about any decorations to be put up as a surprise, and they were willing to assist me with very fast responses, giving me a wide range of options to choose from - see my photo for the final result, which I was very impressed with! They even threw in an extra glass of Prosecco free of charge! Finally, while it’s not available to everyone (first come first serve basis) the staff were able to accommodate us with a late checkout (6pm) at a reasonable price, as our flight was very late. If you need this, ask early in your holiday for a better chance, and you can find out if it is possible for you the day before you check out. Thank you to the brilliant staff for everything!"

"What an amazing night!! It was a night out that combined everything! Nice peaceful tranquil environment, lovely cocktails and amazing food!! Our venue was our favorite Napa Plaza Hotel!! Some friends were staying there but unfortunately we couldn’t since it was fully booked. The night started amazingly with the boys watching champions league final and the ladies having cocktails in the next sofa area. After they had cocktails especially recommend monkey47 with tonic. The meal I had was absolutely amazing carbonara but I was really happy that my wife found some gluten free vegan sushi and even gluten free soy sauce ( she was impressed) . All in all great evening it will be repeated, a big thanks to all the staff which made our evening so pleasurable and last but not least to the hotel manager."

"Just returned from a weeks holiday here. Read reviews before we left and everything sounded amazing so we were left a little disappointed! This review would have been 4/5 but for the total lack of managing a very rude, rowdy and downright horrendous group of young men in their 20s! I don’t know what nationality they were but suffice to say a lot of guests were very upset with their behaviour but it wasn’t dealt with very well by management! Firstly our room with pool view was lovely, a little dated but clean. We’d upgraded to pool view room directly with hotel for €112 euros week as opposed to almost £300 per week with jet 2! The buffet breakfast wasn’t great - not warm enough. Bacon very well done every day and fried eggs cooked and left to go almost cold. No omelettes or poached eggs available. On AI and lunch at pool bar fabulous! Lots of choice and freshly cooked. Booked all 3 à la cartes and all good but you can only eat there once each and drinks only part of AI whilst eating. We were told in Pepper Restaurant that the AI drinks finished at 9 pm. The pool bar was the only place available for AI drinks on an evening - sadly although it looks nice there’s no entertainment and no atmosphere. Buses nearby run to protaras 101 outgoing and 102 back - costs €2 each per journey. Pool very nice but sunbed reservations from 6 am. Pool rules flouted ie people were bringing own drinks in, face timing whilst sat on bed beds - perhaps our experience was a one off. Large groups of young people holidaying there, perhaps just having finished exams. No problems at all but just not we’d expected. Staff all great - a true credit to the hotel. However they were left to deal with incidents as opposed to managers attending! I doubt we’d go back but plenty do ."
